6th June 2007

Managed to arrive late so had missed some of the early acts. Everyone was squeezed into the Victoria Bar, as there are some major works going on in the Clutha at the moment. This made for a very busy atmosphere indeed.

Andy Lindsay was on stage when we arrived and he was singing "The Voyage - Middle Lane Man"

Next up was Jimmy's trio and they did a Pink Floyd song

Gavin Watt was next with "Old Laughing Lady"

Then we had John up from England who gave us a couple of country songs.

Eddie was next with a Beatles number"Don't hide your love away and then a Bread song "Tomorrow's the day, my bride's gonna come"

Elspeth Durkin was next up with Bob Leslie, and she sang the Neil Young song "After the Goldrush" and then Bob Leslie then sang "Different Worlds" a composition of his own.

Joe Kidd was up next [with some help from Bob and Johnny T Miller(JT)] singing his song "Good Day".

Then Ger McDade got up, and with JT on Bass, gave us "Bob Treetop"

Joe Macatamy then gave us his version of the "Loch Tay Boat song" followed by Andy McGarvie doing "Californian Girls" by the Beach Boys.

Stevie (and Bob) then sang his own song Finished with Cocaine"

before making way for Amy Bell who gave us "Over the hill".

Stuart and Scott Workman, with JT, then gave us the Leonard Cohen song "Manhatten"

and then joined by Jenny who gave us "Pharoh's Army".

John and co then gave us a Neil Youg song "Broken Harbours"

Kerry was then up to give us "You're so special".

followed by Joe Kidd {with Bob accompanying} singing his new song "If you were my girl".

Stevie and 'the band' followed her with a nice medley

The bar was really crowded by this time but everyone was really enjoying themselves!

and then Ian Adie took Stevie's place and finished the evening with a flourish,

with a few people getting up and dancing despite the lack of space!!

A great time was had by all!
