A quiet start to the evening - probably due to the Scotland Italy game being played [ commiserations to the scotland supporters!]
Sandy started as usual, to a fairly empty bar[but it quickly started to fill up after 10pm].
Sandy started as usual, to a fairly empty bar[but it quickly started to fill up after 10pm].
First up was Andy the Candy Logan, who started off with 'Crossroads' and followed that with Time slips away'.
Bob Leslie then did a newly composed song ' Somewhere there is love' a nice romantic ballad followed by another of his ballads 'Fading into night'.
Sandy then got back up and sang 'I' gonna get out of here someday' then got Elspeth Durkin and Bob up, and they did the duet 'Love hurts' followed by Elspeth singing 'Autumn Leaves'.
An old aquantance of Sandy's, Eddie, from the Scotia Open Mic days was in, and he performed 'Feel like makin love' and then 'Ain't misbehavin'
Stevie Macafferty was next with 'Babylon' followed by his own song 'I know what's right' which was excellent [ it was his first time singing it in public].
Then Stevie accompanied by Bob Leslie on accoustic and Johnny T Miller on Bass, sang a blues melody mainly using 'Car sits by my window'.
Gavin Watt and JT then gave us a Rolling Stones song 'No expectations' followed by 'You don't dance the techno anymore'.
Joe MacAtamy then gave us 'Ride On' and the every popular 'Annie McKelvie' - at which Andy and Pam got up and had a little dance around!!
Ian Adie gave us the next performance - supporting the Scottish football team with 'Go Bonnie Scotland Go'.
Sandy and JT then performed 'Stand by me', and then JT swapped the Bass with Bob for the accoustic and performed 'Ain't no Love' followed by 'Ready for Love' to finish off the official evening, however as usual there was a little jam session, with everyone joining in to sing 'Dixie Chicken', and 'Another little piece of my heart' among others.
