First up was Joe Kidd who sang a couple of his own compositions 'Nothin' wrong' and then 'For the children' .
Sandy followed this gentle ballad with a Sandy Denny composition - 'Who knows where the time goes'.
and then Andy Logan, whom he announced as 'Don Curlywurly' - just because he had arrived looking very smart in a suit and tie and with a camelhair coat too! Andy gave us an old favourite - 'Games people play' .
After Andy came Jer McDade with his compositions 'Down the road' and 'Sanctuary'.
Stevie Osbourne then got on stage and performed his rock song 'Good to be alive'.
We had a visitor - back from Spain - in the shape of Ger McHugh - who seemed surprised to be called up to the stage but he obliged and gave us his fantastic rendition of the ever popular ‘Russian Lullaby’ followed by ‘Drift Away’, and he left the stage to some rousing applause.
Next was Joe MacAtamy with ‘Northern Water’ and ‘Gallipoli’.
Then Michael Fagin went on stage to sing the Simon and Garfunkel song ‘America’ and Jerry McHugh went up to perform the harmonies with him.
Michael then performed ‘Homeward bound’ himself.
Laura Osbourne was next, giving us her cover of ‘I ain’t missing you at all’ and then the Steeler’s Wheel classic ‘Stuck in the middle with you’. She also appeared to have her own fan club who stood at the front, doing movements to the songs!!
Andy and Fraser Lindsay were next on stage performing a blues version of the song ‘sittin on top of the world’ as performed originally by Cream and/or the Mississipi Creeks.
Sandy then got back on stage with Micahel and Jerry harmonising to the Beatles classic ‘Golden Slumbers’
[The Ian Adie Fan Club!!!]
and then ,accompanied by Michael Fagin on guitar, his version of ‘Southern Man’
Joe Kidd was back up to finish off the evening with gusto!
